Sunday School Departments

Junior Sunday School

The Junior Sunday School class is taught by an energetic teacher and assistant; consist of primary and middle school children. We use unique games, snacks and crafts to help kids learn about God, because kids retain more by interacting with a lesson instead of just hearing it. We strive to connect worship and Sunday school so the children have a better understanding of what’s happening around them. I endeavor to encourage a Jesus-centered foundation that invites and inspires children to meet and know Jesus personally.

“Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.” – Deuteronomy 32:2

Senior Sunday School

The Sr. Sunday School class is a small group setting, comprising of boys and girls ranging in ages from 12 – 16. This class is taught by Nerine Agard and Helena Glave.

Lesson plans are constructed to suit the diversity in ages; therefore no one is left out. We endeavour to teach core values of Christianity such as; Faith, love, honesty, kindness, standing up for others, how to navigate through their daily walk successfully and most importantly how to apply God’s words to their daily lives in a fun and interactive way, which each student can relate to.

Students take part in a variety of yearly projects that emphasizes their team building skills and empathy to those in their surrounding community.

Adult Sunday School

The goal of the adult Sunday School teacher is to bring the word of God into a classroom setting through discussions on the many topics, for the purpose of edifying the body of Christ.

Our primary role is to keep the subjects in-line within the guideline and mandate of the local Church as directed by the Lord. The topics are kept exciting but remain rooted in the Word of God and taught to the level where everyone can participate with confidence.

Teacher’s Motto; “I am not looking for a right or wrong answer, I am just looking for your answer.”
